Boulder Elite x LXTC Lacrosse:
A New Era for Northern Colorado Lacrosse
Local Training. Proven Path. Future Opportunities.
Over the past few months, many of you have asked us to create a true local club lacrosse option for northern Colorado boys. We explored building a brand-new club from scratch with the families, coaches, and talent here.
But we realized there was an even better way forward when we stepped back.
Instead of going alone, we’re launching Boulder Elite, which is a direct partnership between LXTC Lacrosse and Matt Kelley, head boys lacrosse coach at Fairview High School and founder of Foothills Pack girls club lacrosse program, alongside his business partner and co-director of the Foothills Pack, Brad MacHamer.
This partnership gives Northern Colorado players the best of both worlds:
- A local home base with Northern Colorado teammates and coaches
- Direct alignment with Denver Elite’s proven systems
- Access to top coaching expertise from DU/Matt Brown, LXTC, and Boulder-area high schools
- A consistent style of play from 3rd grade through high school
- A clear path to the highest levels of competition without leaving Boulder behind
This isn’t about replacing anything offered by the local recreation teams. It’s about elevating and enhancing lacrosse in Northern Colorado by working with what is already in place.
The Development Path
As players grow and enter high school, they’ll have the opportunity to try out for the top teams within the shared Boulder Elite / Denver Elite ecosystem:
- Top players → major national recruiting events with Denver Elite
- Developing players → continued growth through Boulder Elite in regional and competitive recruiting tournaments
Every player has a place to grow. Every player knows what they’re working toward. And no one gets left behind.
We Believe In
- Community-based teams — future HS teammates, playing together early
- Minimal travel — less I-25, which leaves more time for wall ball and family time.
- Aligned coaching — DU, LXTC, and HS coaches training our local coaches
- Honest recruiting guidance — no hype, just progress and opportunity
- A long-term vision — from 3rd grade through high school and beyond
