DENVER, CO: LXTC Lacrosse Training Center and Cherry Creek Youth Sports announce an on-going partnership between the two organizations. In its capacity as a partner LXTC will serve to augment and enhance the current offerings of CCYS by providing coaching clinics for CCYS’ lacrosse coaches and weekly skills clinics for all levels of youth lacrosse that are age and skill-level appropriate. LXTC will also offer assistance with organizing the CCYS summer lacrosse programming.
LXTC’s commitment to growing the game of lacrosse in the state of Colorado is well established. According the Arapahoe Youth League president and Cherry Creek Youth Sports Board president Craig Randall, LXTC has stepped up its dedication to the local lacrosse community with this new partnership. Together LXTC and CCYS will provide an opportunity for community-based youth sports to improve in their quality of instruction and quality of play while maintaining ties to the communities that they serve. Brent Kercher the Cherry Creek Youth Sports Lacrosse Commissioner concurs saying, “as a community we feel very luck to have forged this long term partnership. LXTC’s core values, outstanding instruction and professionalism will positively impact our community kids at every level of play.”
Through this partnership LXTC intends to bring the same elite level of player development it offers through its own programs both on and off the field. LXTC Director of Operations Kenny Crowley agreed saying, “LXTC is excited to partner with the Cherry Creek Youth Sports Lacrosse Program because our values and goals are very much aligned. One of those shared goals is LXTC’s commitment to fostering the development of the CCYS Lacrosse Program by implementing the same standard of excellence reflected at Denver Elite. We also share a commitment to values-based leadership. Values such as integrity, respect, humility, self-reflection and a balanced perspective encourage the evolution of a student-athlete’s potential to excel both as an individual and as a member of a team. It is our goal to help Cherry Creek’s young student-athletes to understand these positive values as we compete as a team and mature on the lacrosse field together.”
Lacrosse’s status as a fast-growing sport is well documented, and this growth is occurring most rapidly at the youth and high school levels. CCYS stands as an important connector between the youth and high school lacrosse, and aim to prepare participants for the high school game. Adding LXTC to the fold, given its success developing high level athletes and mature young adults, serves to better prepare kids to transition to the high school level both in the classroom and on the field. By introducing the LXTC approach to kids as early as the youth level participants will receive premier guidance, coaching, and leadership throughout their CCYS experience, resulting in a holistic integration of sports, education, and community that is unrivaled in the Denver area.
